Ioan Butiu (b. 1996 Brașov, Romania) is a multidisciplinary designer, web developer, and artist. His work is informed by a transnational perspective, shaped by living between Romania, the United States, and Mexico City. Butiu holds a degree from the University of Washington and has further developed his practice through the School for Poetic Computation in New York City. His current focus is investigating how digital environments can serve as sites for reimagining more equitable and sustainable modes of human-technology relationships.
